about

AN INDEPENDENT EDITORIAL HOUSE. AN EVER-EVOLVING BODY OF WORK.

Part magazine, part visual archive, part artist's notebook, Concept Haul resists a single definition.

We're interested in what people make, what they keep, what they believe, and what they leave behind. The stories attached to ordinary objects. The private worlds of creative minds. The ways culture travels, traditions change, and places leave their mark on us.

We collect fragments of lived experience and follow them into unfamiliar territory, through photography, writing, research, art, and whatever form the idea demands.

A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE

A flea-market find can tell us as much about a place as its monuments. An afternoon in an artist's kitchen can reveal what a gallery wall cannot. An unsuccessful experiment can be more interesting than the finished piece.

We take these things seriously without insisting on being serious about everything.

Concept Haul moves between the personal and the cultural, the beautiful and the peculiar, the carefully composed and the gloriously accidental. We are interested in the details that complicate a story, the questions that don't produce tidy answers, and the unexpected relationships between things that appear to have nothing in common.

The point isn't to collect more. It's to notice more, understand more, and occasionally make something entirely new from what we've found.
